To find inspiration you just need to look at a garden in the fall. You’ll find flowering vines and seasonal goodies like pumpkins. And the colors of the season can be so inspirational. Here are a few of my latest designs–locker hooked and stitched. The pumpkins and gourds were crafted with my new “ruched frames” technique. The Earth Goddess Sachet is hooked with ribbon on linen burlap that has been lightly painted with Lumiere fabric paint and is topped off with a brass filigree accent. The table runner is from my new Locking Loops book and is called the Summer Garden Vine Runner but I’m realizing it has more fall colors. It may need a new name.
