The XTRA FIRM 3.75-Mesh Canvas is 100% cotton with blue grid for easy to create patterns and designs. Made by Zweigart in Germany. It's a superior quality mesh with 3.75 squares per inch in a natural, sturdy cotton. This canvas is very firm WITH EXTRA SIZING and most suitable for latch hooking rugs, locker hooking tote bags and baskets, or fiber art. Available by the yard - 44" x 36", 44" x 60", 10 yard roll, and 27 yard roll. Buy more and save more.

I wanted a very strong backing for a latch hook rug I am making. I couldn't believe I found this quality! Just what I wanted. Thank you so much for the beautiful packaging.
Also I received my order so fast. I am so happy I found this on line shop. (extra note: the stronger mesh also has slightly bigger squares to hook. Great for bulky wools or latching 2 strands at a time for a very lush rug.)

Extra Firm for Longest Lasting Rug

My project, The Remembrance Rug , is being made for the long haul and the extra firm backing reduces slack on the rack while memorials are being added and will presumably hold up longer than the softer style.

Super strong but rough on the hands

This is a great strong material! But for what I do, I find it's hard on the hands.
