Color Crazy's 5 Mesh Canvas is revised in a cotton/poly blend. It has a blue lined grid for easy to create and follow patterns and designs. The 5 squares per inch allows for greater detail. This SOFTER, yet sturdy mesh is great for locker hooking or stitching pillows, runners, and mats, or latch hooking if you're looking for a more pliable base. Pre-Cut in 40" x 60".

I bought this via Michael's. I had no idea who color crazy was until I opened this package. Oh my gosh, the mesh rug canvas is just what I need as an armature for my 3-D crochet projects. What wow'd me what the packaging -- it's customer service, appreciation, and a gentle smiling hug all at once. I've discovered a gem!
This is very soft and is difficult to work on. The mesh actually separates and comes apart as I tried to pull the loops through. I even used a smaller locker hook needle for the narrower fabric strips. I wanted to create some ornaments with this mesh, but will not be using it due to the mesh breaking apart, especially on the corners.
Sorry to hear this didn't work for you Alice. We actually don't recommend this mesh for ornaments. It doesn't have enough sizing to stablize it. For the best results with ornaments, we recommend buying the standard 5-Mesh or 3.75 Mesh and reenforcing with a bead of glue around the edge.
