The Color Crazy Discovery Kits are perfect for an introduction to locker hooking. You get to create a colorful trivet in fresh, vibrant colors with a ceramic tile accent. The kit includes all materials and tools. The only thing you'll need is a pair of craft scissors and glue for the tile and backing. Kit includes 3.75 mesh canvas, hand-dyed fabric strips, yarn for locking medium, blue locker hook and tapestry needle, and ceramic tile. Detailed instructions include step-by-step images and a pattern to follow that is perfect for beginners. The finished Magical Dahlia is approx. 7" square, Sunflower and Santa Barbara are approx. 7 1/2" square.

This is the perfect sized kit as an introduction to locker hooking. The project is easily completed in a short amount of time. The directions were good, I would recommend watching the YouTube video to get a better understanding of the process. I personally like seeing a craft demonstrated as I am more of a visual learner.
